Matt Savage is a graduate of the Oklahoma Farrier College and an Accredited Professional Farrier thru the American Association of Professional Farriers who has been serving the Ohio equine community as a farrier for more than a decade. He owns and operates his business, Savage Farrier Services, out of Fayetteville, OH. Matt believes that, to be an effective farrier, you need to consider the whole horse before performing work on it. He has a particular interest in working with horses with limb length disparity, founder or laminitis. He is heavily involved with the American Association of Professional Farriers and serves on their Online Education and Social Media Committees. He has also given presentations and talks about various farrier-related topics including limb length disparity to educate both horse owners and other farriers.
